Honda CBX550 wheels’ and brake’ components polishing give me a hell of work. Even counting that CBX550 wheels are one of key points of my Kawasaki KZ650 cafe-racer project, they took tremendous amount of working time. However, it looks like I am quite close to complete the task. For moment of this text writing I have only three more parts to sandpaper and polish. And hurray! I finished with all front wheel parts. So let’s without further words proceed to photos of front hub assembly.
Unbelievable work. The best wishes from Lithuania. Peace.
Thank you for good words!
Great work, fantastic what you have done there.
Do you make these to order?
I’m building a Triton but the brake drum option is very limited. A set of your converted disc brakes would be great and keep the 60`s feel of the bike but with a modern disc set up.
Hi David,
I made these wheels for my Kawasaki KZ650 cafe-racer project which is still in progress. CBX550 wheels are quite expensive. And it took a month to only sandpaper and polish all hubs’ components, as original parts never were intended to be polished and have quite a raw surface.
You may find complete story about these wheels clicking this link:

So I doubt if there is anyone who could decide to order such huge amount of works.
Kind regards,
Nazar
