Looks like it’s time to post another bunch of kits. Or to be precise: seats for kits. It so happened that at some moment I had three ready seats in my workshop: two for Kawasaki Zephyr 750 and one for Zephyr 550/400. To make the situation even more interesting, one of 750 seats was ordered in brown colour, while another one – in black. The Zephyr 550 seat was also ordered in black, however, client’ wish was to get the seat upholstered in genuine leather. Option for upholstery by default is automotive grade man-made leather and it was the first time when an order on genuine leather upholstery was placed and I was glad I was given the freedom to choose the exact pattern of leather. I chose automotive grade genuine leather that according to the catalogue was intended for Mercedes cars. I liked the pattern of that leather immensely. I was very pleased with the result. Though both 750 (black and brown) seats looked great, the seat for 550 made of genuine had a different look: it looked warmer and had a graphite gleam around it. With all three seats on my hand I got the idea to photo shoot all three together and it seems I was carried away and not for the first time took more photos than I had intended to. Here they are, all three seats, so you could judge them on your own and decide which one you like more.
