Second spare engine for BMW/EMW R35 is also of early type and according to its number was made in 1950. From all three engines this one is closest to frame number. Here is walk around set of photos:

However, not much could be said about it. This engine looks much better than the first spare engine and seems to be in better condition. It might have been in working condition as it has no significant damages and still equipped with ignition and alternator. However, nothing could be said for sure before I dismantle it and check all parts.
And that is exactly my plan: after I finish with the Kawasaki KZ650 engine I am about to disassemble all three BMW R35 engines and see what parts still could be used in the project.
